Yoga Trance Dance Training In LA
With Shiva Rea
I have immersed myself in the trance dance training to ignite elements of abundance, personal empowerment and freedom.
Physical expression has been my connection to moving through life for as long as I can remember. At 3years old I told my mom that I really wanted to dance, soon afterward, my wish was granted and I was in a ballet class. My curiosity for the connection to movement grew and I took up more styles of dance with modern and jazz. I was awestruck when I saw a theater performance of Cats. This inspired a desire for me to pursue theater training. I was also captivated by the passion and performance of Michael Jackson. By the time I was 8yrs. old I
had joined a professional dance company. I performed with the company for the next 4 years. I found it easier to communicate my feelings through movement than through speech. We can share so much and express so much with our bodies without saying a word. Our bodies feel everything!!!

I have tremendous gratitude for my ability to move my body. I know what a huge effect my dancing has had on my life. "Thank you Mom for putting me in dance classes, helping to give me solid tools to create a connection to myself and to my body". My passion for movement is what led me into the fitness world. I loved the idea of creating my own performances for the stage. A way of letting my spirit play. I feel alive when my whole body is engaged.
Through many difficult times in my life I have always come back to movement and dance as way to deal with toxic feelings and thoughts, to create space, release tension and feel joy in my body and in my life.
Through dance we can share our stories and our joy.
Let Us All Dance, Play, Sweat And Pray!!!
I had the best day hiking in the canyon today with my yoga peeps in LA. Here are some fun shots from our field trip.
